My goal is to see you thrive not just survive and cope. Therapist are invested to help you with coping skills and setting boundaries. This is not lasting change. This is called band-aid therapy. It is important for you to interview your therapist. You should always feel that you have the right therapist and that you are not speaking to a receptionist. I want you to spend the time on the phone with me and ask as many questions as need be. My job is to make you feel comfortable, to help assist you in understanding the therapeutic relationship and how therapy is conducted.
Upon calling I spend at least 30 min talking to potential clients. You want to be certain that the therapist you choose has experience with your issue. It is your right to interview your potential therapist. Make sure that you feel comfortable with me.
