I served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps before pursuing a career as a Certified Personal Trainer and Life Coach through U.C. Davis.
Over the course of my Marine Corps career I obtained the rank of Sergeant, deployed multiple times, and served as a Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) on AH-1W and UH-1Y helicopters. As a direct result of being charged with the safety and well-being of both the Marines under me and up to 20 aircraft and their designated crews,Ibecame intimately familiar with the intricacies of high-demand, high-stress work environments and the mindset required to thrive as an individual and leader under extreme pressure.
As my time in the Marine Corps came to a close, I felt that my previous experiences had prepared me to seamlessly move into the next phase of life, but I quickly found myself stuck in transition with no clear path forward. Lacking purpose and direction, I sunk deeper and deeper into the grips of a depression that I saw no way out of. During this phase I had what I consider to be a spiritual awakening. I began to reflect on what I wanted, who I was, and what kind of impact I wanted to leave on the world.
I began to use this experience and thepersonal insight that accompanied it to help others transition through difficult phases of life by helping them to explore and discover their purpose and as a result find their own lasting happiness.
Today, I find joy inhelping my clients to become the best version of themselves by helping them to build their leadership skills, transition through the different phases of life, and achieve their fitness goals. My approach to coaching is compassionate and direct and I strive to create an environment free of judgement where all possibilities are safe to explore.
