My name is Joaquin and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 6 years of experience in the mental health field working with families, adults, and children. I have worked with individuals, families and group settings. My goal is to establish a strong therapeutic relationship by being authentic and providing an accepting environment that allows people to be their best selves through the therapeutic process. I have an unconditional positive regard for all my clients as it is important for me that everyone feels seen and heard. I believe in being present in session and exploring challenging questions. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is important so I work hard at investing in that relationship for the best possible outcomes. I am genuinely excited about every moment as a therapist because this is my passion and what I love to do.
I provide counseling services to adolescents, adults, families and couples. My specialty ranges from anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-esteem, grief, performance anxiety, bullying, building social skills, and anger management. I am an LGBTQ+ friendly therapist. I am passionate about working with people to help find hope for a better tomorrow.
