I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor here in Florida. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Central Florida and graduated from Troy University with a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology.
My philosophy focuses on the mind and body connection and understanding how it is a key factor in maintaining happiness, alignment and well-being. Humans are powerful beings and we manifest our reality. Understanding how our thoughts are tied directly to our emotions is key to understanding ourself and what motivates us to act in certain ways.
I specialize in working with grief, depression, and anxiety in the context of individual, families and couples. I understand loss and how to overcome it. At the age of 14 I lost a parent to suicide. This taught me the importance and the value of establishing good mental health practices for oneself. I have made it my goal to help others find a sense of peace and clarity in their lives.
I enjoy connecting with people of all ages and those from various multicultural backgrounds. I understand that everyone has their own “truths” and perceptions of how they see the world. Increasing awareness and consciousness is vital in truly understanding the self.
I am also passionate when it comes to assisting children with behavioral disorders including those on the autism spectrum.
I am certified to provide Emotional Support Animals letters to clients seeking to gain the benefit of animals in therapeutic treatment.
I feel truly honored to assist you in gaining the clarity and awareness you strive for in all areas (mind, body and spirit). Please feel free to contact me for more information. Let’s talk and see if we are a good fit for each other.
